Thermal images are evidence of surface temperature patterns at the time of capture — they need context, not guesswork.
When it can help
- Highlighting visible anomalies that warrant a closer look
- Supporting notes and assumptions with additional evidence
- Providing a clearer record for installers and homeowners
Limits to be aware of
- Results depend on conditions at the time of capture
- Images need matching context photos and notes
- Thermal imaging is not automatically included unless agreed
How we document it (when included)
- Thermal image paired with a normal context photo
- Notes describing what’s being shown and where
- Placed into the pack structure so it’s easy to find
